Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail tells you something. It suggests the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker this new, that range is solid.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That should round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Now, the detail that matters. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
